Bovril, Garlic and Herb Sirloin Steak
Makes: 6 portions Cooking: Braai / Grill

Ingredients
| 15 | ml | Dijon mustard (1 Tbsp) |
| 30 | ml | Olive oil (2 Tbsp) |
| 30 | ml | Worcestershire sauce (2 Tbsp) |
| 30 | ml | Bovril (2 Tbsp) |

| 15 | ml | Thyme, finely chopped (1 Tbsp) |
| 5 | ml | Salt (1 tsp) |
| 5 | ml | Black pepper (1 tsp) |
| 1,2 | kg | Sirloin steak, 6 x 200g each |
Method
- In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients. Rub the marinade generously over the steaks. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to come to room temperature.
- Braai over hot coals for 3 – 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and let the steak rest for 7 minutes and serve with Creamy Bovril and mushroom sauce.
